4. Bookings & Appointments

4.1 Consultation Requirement

Certain services may require an initial consultation before an appointment can be confirmed. This allows us to assess the client’s needs, time requirements, product requirements, suitability, and expected outcomes.

4.2 Deposits

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure an appointment.

Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable at the discretion of Muse Edited if sufficient notice is given.

Appointments may be rescheduled once with a minimum of 5 business days’ notice.

Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the appointment may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment may result in the full appointment fee being charged.

No-shows or missed appointments may result in future bookings being declined.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment depending on scheduling availability.

Late arrivals may result in reduced service time, additional fees, or forfeiture of the deposit.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding:

* previous hair history,
* allergies,
* sensitivities,
* medications,
* pregnancy,
* scalp conditions,
* previous chemical treatments,
* medical conditions that may affect services.

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect results and safety.

Muse Edited shall not be held responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from undisclosed information.

6. Hair Colour & Chemical Services

Hair colour and chemical services involve variables beyond our control, including:

* previous colour history,
* box dye use,
* medication,
* mineral build-up,

* environmental exposure,

Muse Edited does not guarantee identical results to reference images, inspiration photographs, social media content, or previous appointments.

Hair health and integrity will always take priority over achieving unrealistic or unsafe colour goals within a single session.

Corrective colour work may require multiple appointments.

Strand tests, allergy tests, or patch tests may be required before certain services are performed.

8. Maintenance & Aftercare

Long-term results depend on proper maintenance and adherence to aftercare recommendations.

Muse Edited shall not be responsible for fading, tonal changes, dryness, breakage, or altered results caused by:

* improper home care,
* swimming,
* sun exposure,
* heat styling,
* failure to follow aftercare advice,
* use of unsuitable products,
* delayed maintenance appointments.

9. Refunds & Adjustments

Due to the time, expertise, preparation, and personalised nature of services provided, refunds are not offered for:

* change of mind,
* dissatisfaction based on personal preference,
* failure to follow aftercare recommendations,

* delayed concerns reported outside the adjustment period.

If a client believes a technical error has occurred, concerns must be communicated within 5 days of the appointment.

Reasonable adjustments may be offered at the discretion of Muse Edited where appropriate.

No refunds are provided for completed services.

Retail products purchased through Muse Edited may only be returned if:

* the item is unopened,
